A caregiver trained in basic patient handling gives sponge baths, changes diapers and bed sheets, turns the patient regularly to help prevent bed sores, feeds meals, helps with walking and toilet and gives medicine reminders as written by the family.
Choose a day, night or 24-hour shift or a monthly plan. Caregivers do not give injections, saline or any medical treatment — book a nurse for that. Diapers and supplies are bought by the family.
